A nice day trip to the Rundale Palace, 70 km to the south from Riga, where the Latvia’s most beautiful Baroque palace is located.
Built in the 18th century as a summer residence for the Duke of Courland Ernst Johann von Biron. Magnificent Galleries, a rich collection of art objects, the famous White Hall. The additional value for the palace is given by the name of the architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli, well known by his works in St.Petersburg (Winter Palace).
